Brandon Marshall

Brandon Marshall was a key piece in some of the great defenses in Denver, and Raiders fans were excited to have him with the team instead of against us. Marshall was listed as a starter on the depth chart the Raiders released a few weeks back, and most believed that would be the case heading into week 1.

With Vontaze Burfict being the leader of the defense, Marshall may have had to take a back seat in that role, but it is always good to have a few veterans that can lead a team of young players, and that is where the Raiders will be missing out.

Marshall would have been reliable, being able to help the younger players and command the team, but now they will rely on Nicholas Morrow to play his position. Morrow is more than capable of starting for the team, but the team cut down on their depth when they released Cabinda, and cut down on veteran leadership with Marshall.
