Three quarterbacks

The story all summer long was whether or not Mike Glennon or Nathan Peterman would make the Raiders 53-man roster as the backup to Derek Carr. On Saturday, it was revealed that both players would be making the initial cut, though it would be very rare for the Raiders to keep both men heading into Week 1.

There is no doubt that Jon Gruden loves his quarterbacks, and showed just how much during the Raiders season on HBO Hard Knocks. He has a soft spot in his heart for both Glennon and Peterman, but all the while showing that there is no doubt that Derek Carr is his starting quarterback in 2019.

On Sunday, the Raiders added another quarterback in DeShone Kizer, who previously was cut by the Green Bay Packers. There is no way  that this team rolls into the regular season with four quarterbacks, so keep an eye on this position group over the next few days.
