Grade

Overall the Raiders round out a quality running back group, but they still don’t have a lot of experience in the league with two rookies taking on the bulk of snaps. Jacobs appears to have the makeup of a potential rising star in the league, but it’s hard to quantify until he actually does so.

In today’s NFL running backs that can catch out of the backfield have become so valuable. Richard is among the top tier pass catching running backs, but it’s a difficult one to predict how many targets he’ll get per game with a much improved offense.

Washington enters his fourth year in the NFL where he’s been a nice complementary piece, but ultimately, he’s never taken on a big role in the running attack. He’s more of a depth piece to the roster than someone who is expected to breakout moving forward.

Ingold looks to be primarily the lead blocker, but can catch some dump off passes in the flat if needed to do so. He’s still an unpolished rookie, but can develop into a quality blocker for the Raiders running game.
