The Oakland Raiders head into the 2019 NFL season with one of the more talented wide receiver groups we have seen in the Silver and Black.

The Oakland Raiders 53-man roster heading into week 1 has been finalized, and the wide receiver group may be one of the most controversial stories from the process. Antonio Brown, Tyrell Williams, and Hunter Renfrow made the roster as everyone assumed, but there are some questions within the decisions made on what receivers to keep.

Throughout the preseason, undrafted rookie Keelan Doss caught everybody’s eye, as he was not only a standout at practice, but also in games. In addition, guys like J.J. Nelson, Keon Hatcher, and Ryan Grant had their moments, making this one of the tougher position groups to guess from the outside looking in.

As the roster was finalized on Saturday, some of the bigger stars from the summer were cut, as the coaching staff looked to go with veterans over some rookies. However, after finishing last season with Jordy Nelson atop the depth chart, and little else behind him, you have to be happy with how this group shaped out.

Let’s take a look at every receiver that made the team, the receivers who did not make the team, and how we would grade this group that the Raiders staff has put together.
