Prediction

If the Raiders can contain Denver’s pass rush, even in the slightest, they should win this game. The Broncos will test Kolton Miller and Trent Brown early with Bradley Chubb, Von Miller, and Derek Wolfe, but if they can contain that group, they can protect against anyone.

The Raiders corners should do well against Emmanuel Sanders and Courtland Sutton, but I am not sold on our defensive tackles, and I believe Phillip Lindsay has a big game against us. Luckily, the Raiders should be able to limit the big play and force a couple turnovers against Joe Flacco, giving Derek Carr and the Raiders plenty of chances to score.

Carr talked about being able to take more risky throws this season, and I believe he will have the opportunity to do that with Tyrell Williams on multiple occasions this game.

Next. Right call for Antonio Brown to Play Week 1?. dark

The Raiders should be able to pick apart the Broncos throughout the game, winning a closely contested game in Oakland behind a big first game for Josh Jacobs, and although the Raiders struggle throughout the game, the Broncos will struggle even more.

Prediction- Raiders 24, Broncos 21
