Games 1 and 2

Game No. 1 vs. Denver Broncos

24. 28. Prediction. 21. 45

The Raiders and Denver Broncos are in similar positions, having new players at important positions throughout the roster. The Raiders tend to do well against the Broncos at home, and Joe Flacco won’t be the player to fix that.

The Broncos have a new head coach in Vic Fangio, so it will be difficult for the Raiders to game plan against them, but the Broncos are in the same boat, considering the Raiders are a completely new team. The Raiders get the run game going early and often with Josh Jacobs, and Darren Waller has a big game against a team that struggles against tight ends.

Game No. 2 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Prediction. 35. 124. 24. 28

The Raiders tend to struggle against the Kansas City Chiefs whenever they play them, but the real reason the Raiders lose this game is simply because the Chiefs are the better team. Kansas City has the most explosive offense in the league behind Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Gareon Conley shut Hill down for the most part, but Travis Kelce will have a big game, along with Damien Williams running all over the place. It will be a shootout between Derek Carr and Mahomes, but Mahomes gets the better of the two.
