The Oakland Raiders made a statement Monday night with a 24-16 win over division rival Denver Broncos. Here are three players whose stock rose and three that trended downward.

It may have felt like the longest week ever leading up to Monday Night’s primetime matchup with the Denver Broncos, but Week 1 of the regular season finally arrived. With the home crowd behind them and with a chip on their shoulder, the Oakland Raiders made a statement. The Raiders largely controlled the game on both sides, resulting in a 24-16 divisional win.

The offense overall looked sharp, making use of all their new offseason additions and maximizing each of their strengths. The offensive line, in particular, made the difference, allowing no hits on Derek Carr and rendering Von Miller and Bradley Chubb quiet on the night.

When the offense wasn’t on the field, it was the defense forcing three-and-outs of Joe Flacco and the Denver offense. After being dead last in sacks a season ago, the Raiders notched three sacks on Monday night, and a were consistently in Flacco’s face, generating pressure.

After a great 1-0 start to the season, here are three players whose stock rosed and three who trended downward Monday night.
