In week one the Oakland Raiders got off to a hot start beating the Denver Broncos 24-16. Now in week 2, they’ll host the Kansas City Chiefs for another AFC West matchup. Here are three things to watch for in Sunday’s game.

The Kansas City Chiefs roll into Oakland for Sunday’s Week 2 game with the Raiders  with both teams coming off stellar offensive performance’s. In past years, the Raiders have struggled against the Chiefs, dropping 10 of the last 12 matchups.

After Oakland put together a much-needed win on Monday night football and moved past the off-the-field storylines, there’s much optimism for both teams entering Sunday’s game. Oakland looks much better on both sides of the ball, especially up front, and their overall team speed is light years ahead of last season.

The Raiders have a brutal schedule over the next two months, going on a stretch of five straight road games. That’ll be a struggle for any team, no matter how you slice it. After the Kansas City game, they open up this rocky road schedule with the Minnesota Vikings.

With that in mind, this week’s game is a much-needed one before Oakland starts their road stretch.
