The Oakland Raiders were reminded how much work is ahead of them after their Week 2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Here are the players whose stock rose and those who dropped after Sunday.

This Oakland Raiders team is much improved in comparison to a season ago: they’re younger, faster, and there is much more to look forward to in the future. But this roster still has holes and has a ways to go towards being contenders, and the Kansas City Chiefs reminded them of just that Sunday afternoon.

After a strong first-quarter drive that resulted in a 10-0 lead, Patrick Mahomes showed exactly why he’s the reigning NFL MVP. In a matter of just 15 minutes, Mahomes and the Chiefs ran up 28 points on the Raiders defense. The four passing touchdowns by Mahomes set a record for touchdowns thrown in a half (reminder, this was all in a matter of 15 minutes, aka one quarter).

Oakland looked solid for the first fifteen minutes than outmatched from there on out and simply could not recover. With the Minnesota Vikings next on the schedule, here are the players who trended upward and those that need to get back on track heading into Week 3.
