Kirk Cousins is the key to the Vikings success

Kirk Cousins got paid a lot of money to join the Vikings, and the assumption was the Vikings were nearing a Super Bowl, but were just a quarterback away from getting there. Last week, however, Cousins made many mistakes, which led to the close loss to the Packers.

This was the story of the Raiders game as well. Derek Carr turned the ball over two times in tough places, one time in the RedZone. The two quarterbacks are looking for a bounce-back game where they perform and put their respective teams in positions to win.

Look for the Raiders to use screens and lots of complex route running to force the aggressive defense to bite on mistakes and look for the Raiders to try and stuff the run to force Cousins to win the game for them. If his history in the NFL is any indication, he won’t be able to do that.
