Minnesota’s front seven vs. Oakland Raiders with Richie Incognito
Last week, the offensive line showed holes in their play, and most of that came on whiffed blocks on zone-run plays and pass-blocking issues against an above-average defensive line, not a great one though. Richie Incognito was sorely missed last week and his skills can help the Raiders win this week against one of the NFL’s best front seven.
Not only do they have a great front seven which can put pressure on opposing quarterbacks, but the secondary is also ready for the ball as they get turnovers quite often. It will be interesting to see what kind of pressure the Vikings can get on Carr, as the team’s offensive tackles have been elite thus far in 2019.
Oakland struggled to protect Carr all last season, as he was sacked over 50 times. The combination of Kolton Miller and Trent Brown have kept Carr lean this season, but the guards allowed him to sacked in Week 2, so expect Incognito coming back from suspension to be nothing but a positive in Week 3.
