Josh Jacobs

Through the first two weeks, Josh Jacobs has been a viable fantasy option and one of the best rookies in the entire league. Jacobs is dealing with an illness which he talked about on social media detailing that he lost 10 pounds, but all signs point towards him playing.

Relying on running back against the Vikings seems typically like a stupid idea, but the Packers Aaron Jones ran for 113 yards and a touchdown last week against this unit. In addition, offensive coordinator Greg Olson said they plan to utilize Jacobs more in Week 3, hopefully getting him more involved in the passing game.

Jacobs is averaging 18 touches a game, so even with the illness, he will likely still see a decent workload. One area the Raiders should look to use Jacobs more is in the passing game. He only has one reception despite showing all the tools to be a competent pass catcher. Oakland overall has only thrown it to their running backs six times this season which is a change from last year.
