Week 3 was a game to forget as the Oakland Raiders were completely outmatched against the Minnesota Vikings. Here are the players who shined and those whose stock dropped in the 34-14 loss.
If the Oakland Raiders Week 2 loss brought the Silver and Black back to reality, then their embarrassing defeat at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings provided legitimate causes for concern. The Raiders were underdogs headed into this matchup, rightfully so, but no one was ready for the beatdown that commenced in Minnesota.
Or perhaps, the Vikings were ready for it, as they came out the gate hot on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.
Minnesota’s playmakers on offense made easy work of a shaky Raiders secondary, and after promising play through the first two games the pass protection for Oakland was a sore sight to see in Week 3.
The Vikings were great, and the Raiders were terrible, there’s no way around it. With that truth in mind, it’s not rocket science to identify the players who shined on Sunday and those whose stock took a turn for the worse.
