Karl Joseph

There is one common theme within the Colts receiving core, speed. T.Y. Hilton has built a very successful career as a deep threat, and Parris Campbell clocked a 4.31 second 40-yard dash at the combine. Preventing these two and the rest of the receiving core from getting behind the defense will be a difficult task for the Raiders.

Out of 193 snaps, Joseph has played 86 at free safety, meaning defensive coordinator Paul Guenther is relying on him to be the defense’s security blanket. However, that was a struggle for the defensive back in last week’s contest.

Oakland cannot afford for Joseph to have lapses like this one and after watching this play on film, head coach Frank Reich will certainly look to take some shots on Sunday. Hopefully the defensive back learned from his mistakes.
