Three Stars

Trevor Davis

What a debut it was for Trevor Davis, who was brought to Oakland via trade but was inactive last week. Davis showed off the speed that was likely the reason he was brought to the Silver and Black, leveraging the sweep play and finding the endzone on a 60-yard touchdown.

Lamarcus Joyner

Lamarcus Joyner’s issue last week wasn’t his play on the field, it was literally the fact that the Vikings schemed him off of it. This week? Different story. Joyner’s impact was felt all over, helping hold the Colts’ offense to just a field goal in the endzone alongside seven solo tackles and one pass deflection.

Maxx Crosby

Maybe Benson Mayowa was inactive in order to let Maxx Crosby shine on Sunday. Crosby had two solo tackles, two pass deflections and a forced fumble against the Colts. A promising performance that hopefully will carry over next week.
