Game Recaps

Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are continuing their dominance over the NFL, although they did have a closer game than expected against the Detroit Lions. The Chiefs would be in a back and forth game with Detroit, and a late touchdown would give them the edge, improving to 4-0 with a 34-30 victory.

Patrick Mahomes is continuing his MVP caliber play, and although he did not throw for a touchdown in Week 4, he still has recorded 1,510 yards for ten touchdowns this season. The Chiefs are one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl as of now and for good reason.

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders had one of their most impressive victories in a long time in Week 4, defeating the Indianapolis Colts 31-24. Although the score appears to be close, the game was far from competitive. The Raiders dominated the game from start to finish, and the team looked great on both sides of the ball.

The offense did everything right against the Colts, protecting Derek Carr, feeding Josh Jacobs, and making big plays. The defense appears to have finally figured out where they want to play the defensive backs, as Joyner, Joseph, and Harris played a great game together, highlighted by a pick-six by Harris to win the game.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers bounced back from back to back losses with a Week 4 victory over the Miami Dolphins, and although the Dolphins are one of the worst teams in the NFL, the performance cannot be taken away from the Chargers. The Chargers dominated Miami with a 30-10 victory where the Chargers won all four quarters of the game.

The Chargers are an extremely talented roster that just had not appeared to have it all put together before this week. The team is always plagued by injuries, and this season is no different. The Chargers have winnable games the next two weeks where they can prove that they are a team to fear.

Denver Broncos

The Broncos lose another heartbreaker, this time to the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Denver has lost three out of its four games by one possession, two of those games being by two points. The Broncos are currently the worst team in the division, but they are better than an 0-4 team.

The Broncos have a difficult stretch going forward, as they do not have a team with a losing record on the remainder of their schedule. It is looking like the team is in for a rough season, and should be looking at an early draft pick for next season.
