Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs (SNF)

The Kansas City Chiefs will play host to  the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football in Week 5, in a rematch of last season’s Divisional Round matchup. In that game, the Chiefs throttled Andrew Luck and the Colts 31-13, and while Luck has since retired, and has been replaced by Jacoby Brissett, it should be all of the same on Sunday night.

Patrick Mahomes has come back from his MVP season to be even better in 2019, though he did struggle a bit against a very good Detroit Lions team last week. The Colts are fresh off a home loss to the Oakland Raiders in Week 4, a game they were heavily favored in, but they did have key players out like T.Y. Hilton, Darius Leonard, and Malik Hooker.

With the win, the Chiefs move to 5-0 on the season, and are cemented as one of the front-runners to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl this upcoming February. If the defense can hold up through the 16-game slate, they will be hard to beat, but do have some tough games ahead of them over the next few months.

Prediction: Chiefs 40, Colts 17
