It’s never too early to look ahead towards the 2020 NFL draft. With the Raiders once again having a significant amount of draft capital, draft day is something that can lay the foundation for the Raiders franchise as they head into Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Raiders find themselves in prime position come draft day, as they hold two first-round picks. As of now, they’re set up for six selections over three days, with the ability to trade up or down.

With Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden at the helm, you can guarantee some healthy player evaluations to take place in the Raiders war room. Last year, they held three first round picks, hitting gold with running back Josh Jacobs and safety Johnathan Abram, while the jury is still out on Clelin Ferrell.

Overall, it was a solid first round, as all three men will be expected to be cornerstones of this team moving forward. As the franchise makes yet another move to another city, this time Sin City, it is important that they continue to stack young talent, and next April will be no different.
