Let’s face it, since Antonio Brown was released the Raiders core of wide receivers has been extremely slim. Tyrell Williams has been the only wide receiver that’s found his groove within the Oakland offense. Darren Waller has emerged a nice pass catching option, but the Raiders find themselves in need of a playmaker to take the top off the defense.

Henry Ruggs III projects as a playmaker at the next level who can do exactly what the Raiders are looking for. Ruggs has legitimate 4.2 speed and has shown to be a lethal deep threat in the college ranks.

With Ruggs’ vertical explosiveness, he can blow by any cornerback, and at Alabama he’s shown how dangerous of a runner he is once he hits the open field.

Pros

-World-class speed

-Excels through traffic

-Natural pass catcher

-Fights for extra yards

Cons

-Slim body frame

-Route running (wins with speed and physical traits)
