Yes, the Raiders did select a defensive end, Clelin Ferrell, in the first round of last year’s draft, but pass rush still remains the Raiders largest area of need. They’re still lacking a pass rusher that opposing offense’s fear to face, so I have them continuing to hunt for one.

Julian Okwara passes every bit of the eye test for a NFL pass rusher. He’s a bendy-athletic defender listed at 6’4″ 248-pounds who’s caused havoc for the offensive tackles he’s faced in college.

So far, in Okwara’s senior season he’s posted four sacks and two forced fumbles in four games. He projects as an impact rusher in the NFL, utilizing his speed off the edge to his advantage.
