Tuf Borland. 178. player. 812. . Linebacker. Buckeyes

Linebacker is arguably the thinnest position depth-wise on the roster. While one just might not be enough, they could look to double up. Marquel Lee is currently the only linebacker under contract through 2020.

Tuf Borland is Gruden’s prototypical high-motor – tough as nails type of defender. Borland plays with a lot of anticipation who finds the ball carrier with quality vision through traffic.

Borland has bounced back nicely from a torn achilles, showing it doesn’t appear to have slowed him down. He’s definitely more of a ‘project pick’ that shows promise. A lot of effort with this selection that could turn into something.

Pros

-Hard-nose player

-Instincts

-Finds ball carrier consistently

Cons

-Needs to bulk

-Limited experience
