Looking ahead

As we look ahead to what the future of the 2019 Oakland Raiders will be, we must first focus on the matchup ahead of us. On Sunday, the Raiders face Khalil Mack and the Bears for the first time since Mack was traded last season.

Mack has said that he certainly wants to make an impact this game, and Gruden and Carr certainly want to as well, as some fans been putting an enormous amount of criticism and attention on them to succeed. The outcome of the Bears game can certainly direct the course of the season, as this team has been working to find their identity, and who the 2019 Raiders will be.

In order for the Raiders to be successful this season they need to maintain a consistent run game, feeding early Offensive Rookie of The Year candidate Josh Jacobs the ball, as well as a strong passing attack from Carr utilizing Waller, Tyrell Williams, J.J. Nelson, Hunter Renfrow and especially Jacobs.

There are still many questions about this team as to where they will go, how well they can play, if they can turn the corner, but at the end of the day we have to look at the positives, this team is a young team with a lot of talent that is being built the right way and if is continued to be built correctly can be a great team for years to come.
