Gareon Conley

Defensively, this game is all about taking advantage of the quarterback situation. The longer Daniel’s has to hold on to the ball, the better and taking away his number one option is how that’s accomplished. Especially with Taylor Gabriel out, Allen Robinson is hands down the best receiver on the Bears roster.

Even with the Wind City’s struggles at quarterback, Robinson has been productive this season hauling in 24 catches for 280 yards. Limiting the wide receiver’s touches will go a long way and Conley must be up for the task.

While the defensive back has struggled for the majority of the season, he is coming off an impressive performance against the Colts where he was targeted five times and allowed two completions for six yards.

Repeating this effort will be difficult because Robinson’s eight point two yards per target is more than any wide receiver on Indianapolis‘ roster (minimum 11 targets). One could argue that Conley is involved in the defense’s most important matchup of the game.
