Derek Carr’s quick release

Most Raiders fans hate that Derek Carr often throws to his check-downs and gets rid of the ball in a hurry, but against a team like the Bears, that is a good thing. Carr is going to have no time to make a big play this week, so he is going to need to get rid of the ball in a hurry.

Expect a big game from Darren Waller, catching a ton of balls for five yards or less on quick plays. The Raiders should also look to get Josh Jacobs involved in the passing game out of the backfield on some run-pass options.

The Raiders have a strong group of quick wide receivers that the Raiders could look to throw a lot of screens to with Renfrow, Harris, and Davis, and maybe work some end-arounds in too. The Raiders are going to have to be quick and creative to beat the Bears, two words that describe Gruden’s offense.
