Adam Thielen made it perfectly clear he was unhappy in Minnesota with Kirk Cousins at the helm. Not only is Cousins average at best, but he’s overthrowing his receivers constantly and has lost the game on dumb plays in the Green Bay loss and the Minnesota loss as well.

The Raiders lost to the Vikings, not due to Cousins, but in spite of him. The other Vikings superstar, Stefon Diggs, isn’t happy either. Both receivers have had a slow start and that’s mainly due to the lackluster play of Cousins.

Diggs has made it clear he’s not happy with how the season has started nor with the worst start of his career. The receiver wants to win and has a passion to win and it shows on the field. Diggs is a deep threat and can stretch the field and forces the defense to lean his way.

The question he has looming over him is can he be productive without Thielen on the other side of the field?

If I had to choose one of the two, I’d rather have Thielen. The receiver is a third-down monster, catching 65% of his catches on third down. While he’s not super fast, compared to Diggs, his route running ability is no question one of the best in the NFL right now.

He can manipulate safeties and force coverage to go his way which can help the Raiders win games and open up bigger plays for other players.
