The Oakland Raiders took on the Chicago Bears inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, and ended up on the winning end of a 24-21 score.

The Oakland Raiders took on the Chicago Bears inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, and shocked the football world by dominating on both sides of the ball. Oakland got out to a fast start against Chicago, taking a 17-0 lead into Halftime, but after allowing 21 straight in the third quarter, they had to gut it out for the victory.

Oakland got the party started first, but should have gotten points on their first possession. In field goal range, left guard Richie Incognito cost the team a chance at points, as he received a personal foul. After the punt, the defense got a stop, leading to a long touchdown drive by Derek Carr and the offense.

Rookie Josh Jacobs continued his strong start to his NFL career, carrying the load for the Raiders in the first half. He found the end zone to put the Raiders up 7-0, and throughout the half, he battled an elbow injury, but still was able to get the tough yards.

DeAndre Washington scored the second Raiders touchdown of the game after a Nicholas Morrow interception of Chase Daniel. A Daniel Carlson field goal towards the end of the half gave the Raiders a 17-0 lead entering the break, which happened to be the Raiders most dominating half of football this season.

In the second half, the Bears dominated the third quarter, scoring 21 straight points to take a 21-17 lead entering the final quarter. The momentum turned in the game on a pitch by Derek Carr to Josh Jacobs, as a miscommunication set the Bears up deep in Raiders territory.

After a touchdown run by Bears rookie David Montgomery, Allen Robinson II scored twice. In the fourth quarter, the Raiders took over with under six minutes left at their own 2-yard line, and proceeded to drive the length of the field for the score.

Carr was sharp on the drive, which was capped off by Jacobs’ second touchdown of the game. After a Gareon Conley interception ended the Bears drive once they got the ball, the Raiders went three-and-out,  giving Chicago a desperation play to end the game.

With the victory, the Raiders roll to 3-2 entering their bye week.
