CBS – Ryan Wilson

7. Henry Ruggs – WR – Alabama

28. Paulson Adebo – CB – Stanford

Of the mocks we review in this piece, this might be the best one in terms of overall talent. Ryan Wilson of CBS put together this mock draft that saw Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa going first overall to the Miami Dolphins.

It seems like Wilson is predicting draft positions, rather than using the current standings, so he has the Raiders first selection at seventh overall. With that selection he has the Raiders taking talented wide receiver Henry Ruggs out of Alabama. Ruggs, a top seven pick, is the second best receiver on his team behind Jerry Jeudy who went fifth in this mock, but is a star in his own right. An extremely fast player, Ruggs is a monster in space and is always a threat to break a big play. He would be a ton of fun to watch in Las Vegas.

With the 28th pick (Chicago’s), Wilson sees the Raiders taking another shot on a cornerback with Paulson Adebo out of Stanford. After taking two corners in 2019, this seems like a bit of a stretch but Adebo’s skillset is undeniable. A physical specimen at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Adebo would fit right in with Oakland’s press coverage on defense.
