22. CeeDee Lamb – WR – Oklahoma

28. Jonathan Greenard – EDGE – Florida

The third consecutive combination of wide receiver and edge rusher, WalterFootball has the Raiders taking CeeDee Lamb and Jon Greenard at 22 and 28 respectively. Lamb is a recurring name and is clearly a top-tier wide receiver prospect out of Oklahoma. He has been tearing college football apart and would excite fans heading into the move to Las Vegas. With the need at receiver after the Antonio Brown fiasco, this makes a ton of sense.

Then at 28th the Raiders take Jonathan Greenard out of Florida to help fix the consistent issue in the pass rushing department. More of a quick rusher, a la Arden Key, Greenard is the yin to Clelin Ferrell’s yang. The two could combine to create a fearsome tandem for the future and could be the answer to fan’s prayers of fixing the pass rush.

Overall, experts have the Raiders taking players to plug their holes on the roster. A novel thought, no? In years past, the Raiders haven’t necessarily followed that approach because of a need to simply take best player available. With more talent on the roster now, hopefully Mayock can zero in on plugging holes, like those at linebacker, wide receiver, and pass rusher.

CeeDee Lamb seems to be a common target at wide receiver and a plethora of names at edge rusher have been linked to the Silver and Black. What do you think Raider Nation? Like what you see so far? It’s early, but let me know your thoughts in the comments!
