Raiders pass rush starting to catch rhythm

The Raiders pass rush has already been a drastic upgrade from the production they received last season. In the team’s third win of the season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium they recorded four sacks against the Chicago offense.

Maurice Hurst, Benson Mayowa, and Maxx Crosby all got home, sacking Chase Daniel on Sunday. Coming from a team that’s scuffled in generating any sort of pass rush, they’ve actually started to find some rhythm in getting after the quarterback.

If the Raiders find a way to continue this kind of pressure on opposing quarterbacks, they’ll also help the defensive backs by forcing throws. Despite former No.4 overall pick Clelin Ferrell being inactive, the defensive line put together their best performance as a collective group.
