Pick No. 20 (From Chicago Bears): Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

Pick No. 22: Nico Collins, WR, Michigan

Josh Edwards from CBS Sports.com recently put out his latest 2020 NFL mock draft, and he has the Raiders bringing in Derek Carr’s replacement with the pick they got for Carr’s best friend, Khalil Mack. The narrative for the Raiders selecting a quarterback to replace Derek Carr will never die, no matter how well the Raiders or Derek Carr do.

If the Raiders do select a QB for some reason, Herbert is one of many solid options for the Raiders. He has all the talent to be a legitimate franchise quarterback in the NFL, but the fact that this writer has him still available at No. 20 is a bit of a stretch.

Later in round one, Edwards has the Raiders adding a wide receiver, considering many people do not believe Tyrell Williams is a top receiver despite his production. If the Raiders select a receiver, Nico Collins seems like a stretch, but it is still early in the season.
