Clelin Ferrell

The Raiders used the fourth overall pick of the draft on Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell, in hopes that he would turn the defensive line around. The Raiders defensive line has improved a ton this season, but not much credit can be given to Ferrell.

Ferrell has not played awful by any means, but he has not played like a top-four pick so far. Ferrell started his career off hot in Week 1, as he recorded his first career sack on Joe Flacco, as well as having two QB hits and a tackle for a loss.

Since Week 1, Ferrell has been someone silent, as he has ten total tackles, two tackles for a loss, and one sack after playing four games. It is way too early to say that Ferrell was a waste of a pick, especially considering Khalil Mack did not record his first sack until late in his rookie season, but Ferrell needs to step his play up big time once he returns from injury.
