Hunter Renfrow

Hunter Renfrow had a lot of hype behind him heading into this season, but if you understood the role he would play, he has fit into the offense well so far.

Like some of the other rookies, Renfrow is not going to fill the stat sheet, but he will come up big when needed. He showed this against the Bears on third down, as he has throughout the season, catching a ball short of the first down line, and making players miss to pick up the first down.

Renfrow’s role will continue to grow within the team, but for now, expect him to show up on third downs late in the game, but not much outside of that.

It would be nice to see Renfrow make more big plays, as he does have that ability, but with the quick release offense the Raiders run, he is not going to have huge games, even though he has the talent to do so.
