The Oakland Raiders gave up a lot to get a large amount of draft picks in 2019, but the rookies have stepped up big time through the season’s first five games.

Most Oakland Raiders fans were excited about the future of the team after the 2019 NFL Draft, and with three first-round picks, who could blame them? The Raiders added nine players in the draft, and after five weeks of football, a large majority of them have made an impact on the team.

Rookie Johnathan Abram suffered an injury in the first game of the season that will leave him out for the season, Isaiah Johnson has been out with injury, and Quinton Bell did not make the team. Outside of that, this rookie class has made big plays in every game, especially down the stretch of close games.

From an electric running back that could be in line for Rookie of the Year honors, to a lightning rod defensive end that gets better every week, this class has passing marks through the first five games. In addition, other rookies have become household names in Raider Nation, and the party is just getting started.

Let’s take a look at the impact some of these players have had.
