Oakland Raiders Trent Brown sued for domestic violence

A lawsuit was filed on Tuesday in the state of California on Oakland Raiders tackle Trent Brown on account of domestic violence.
Trent Brown has been an incredible pickup for the Oakland Raiders this offseason, but that could all be in jeopardy after some news that was released this morning. We have seen many different players be accused of domestic abuse, and it has been handled in a number of different ways.
The lawsuit was filed by Diorra Marzette-Sanders, a woman who claims to have a nine-month-old son with Brown.
According to the lawsuit filed, Brown slapped the woman who filed the case in the face, leaving her visibly bruised and bloody. The file also stated that Brown threatened to shoot the woman if she left with their son.
The lawsuit goes on to explain many incidents between Brown and the woman, where he would choke her, grab her, and hit her on many different occasions in March and April of 2019. There was also an incident in June of 2019 where Brown was vacationing in Hawaii, and he slapped the woman in the face, resulting in police being called and reports being filed. If this is true and the reports are actually filed, this could go against Brown in the future, assuming he fights the lawsuit.
Along with these allegations, the woman also claims that Brown kicked her out of her house after claiming that he would take care of her and her son, and lied about intentions to marry her.
It is too soon to say exactly what will happen with the situation, as the NFL, Raiders, and Brown have not spoken about the situation as of now. The NFL will surely investigate the situation and release a statement soon, as well as Coach Gruden and the Oakland Raiders. Until then, the Raiders will likely go along with their business until further news is released.
Brown was at Raiders practice on Wednesday, but did not participate, and was seen rehabbing. He has battled injuries all season long, so that is not a strange occurrence, but this is something to definitely keep an eye on as we get closer to Sunday.
