With the injury of Johnathan Abram, the need at safety depth was exposed when the Raiders were forced to play Curtis Riley. It is safe to say that the Raiders will add another safety at some point before next season, and Jalen Elliott may be the guy.

Elliott is a big part of the Notre Dame defense and could be a player who is overlooked going into the draft because of his lack of playing time at times. With six interceptions over the last two years, it is easy to see why the Raiders would want to add him in the draft.

The emergence of Erik Harris this season, and the great play of Karl Joseph has been able to keep the group together before Abram gets back. Still, adding Elliott would be another great depth piece, and getting him in the seventh round would be a tremendous value to round out the Raiders 2020 NFL Draft.
