Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos were on the odd end of the spectrum heading into Thursday Night Football’s matchup, having come off two straight victories off the play of the defense and dedication to the running game. All good things must come to end as they say, and their winning ways were halted on Thursday Night, losing 30-6.

Joe Flacco and the offense were able to move the chains on the opening drive of the first quarter, capping it off with a Royce Freeman touchdown (the two-point conversion attempt failed). And that was about it for the Broncos on the night.

Despite Mahomes’ injury, those six points were all that Denver could muster through three other quarters. As is known, this Broncos team will ultimately go as far as the defense can take them. If they can’t hold their own, don’t count on Flacco and the offense to bring the game back within reach.
