Houston’s Offensive Line

The Texans have done a poor job of protecting Deshaun Watson, and it honestly is a shame. Watson is one of the most skilled players in the league, and he has proven that on multiple occasions. He can make almost any throw, he can scramble, and he can do things that most QBs cannot.

Unfortunately for Watson, his skill gets a bit underused because of his offensive line. Watson has been sacked 21 times this season, and if it wasn’t for his ability to escape sacks, he would have been sacked over 30 times already this year.

Many people criticized the Raiders pass rush last week, and believe me, it was hard to watch, but the Packers offensive line is twice as good as the Texans, and the Raiders pass rush has gotten to some teams this season. The Raiders should be able to get to Deshaun Watson this week and have a massive impact on the game.

Expect the Raiders to come away with a couple of sacks this week, and even if they don’t bring Watson down on multiple occasions, the rush will be enough to make him rush the ball out, keeping both him and Deandre Hopkins at bay.
