In order to finish this road trip off on a good note, the Oakland Raiders will have to get some good performance from some key players.
The Oakland Raiders will finish off their road trip this Sunday against the Houston Texans in a battle of two teams looking to bounce back from tough losses.
The Texans enter this game 4-3 and are led by quarterback DeShaun Watson who is one of the most electrifying players in the league. And defensively they feature two great pass rushers in J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus who will challenge this Oakland offensive line.
The Raiders are coming off a tough loss against the Packers but still have everything in front of them, especially with the Chiefs missing Patrick Mahomes for a couple of weeks.
These two teams haven’t played since the 2017 wildcard game, which was ruined by the Derek Carr injury a few weeks prior.
Both enter this game looking to make a playoff push and need this win to stay on track.
For the Raiders, they made the decision to trade away Gareon Conley to this very Texans squad, so this game brings even more intrigue.
Now they will need to replace him and find a way to sure up what was a feeble defensive effort against Green Bay. And on offense, finishing drives will be the key and controlling the clock to keep the ball out of Watson’s hands.
To do that, it will take a team effort, but there are a few players, in particular, that need to be highlighted.
Here are three players to watch during this weekend’s game.
