Heading into week 8, the Oakland Raiders find themselves looking at another matchup against a great quarterback in Houston Texans’ DeShaun Watson.
The Raiders defense is reeling after getting completely torched by Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers, where they gave up over 400 passing yards. Watson is fully capable off doing the same, so Oakland will need to make some serious adjustments to prevent another record-breaking performance.
On offense, they moved the ball well but made critical mistakes in the red zone, which swung the game.
Now at 3-3, they are coming to the end of their tough road stretch, but this game is vital to prove that Oakland can compete with a team that features a top-10 quarterback. They failed to do such against Patrick Mahomes and Rodgers, so we’ll see if the third time is a charm.
