Los Angeles Chargers
Week 8 had the makings for a win-less day for the AFC West division. That almost came to fruition, but the Los Angeles Chargers finally had enough of their three-game losing streak. Despite going up against Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears defense, on the road, Los Angeles finally was on the plus side of a crunch time error.
Despite having a timeout to move in closer range, or seal the game with a touchdown, the Bears elected to kneel and set up an Eddy Pineiro 41-yard field goal with two seconds left. The kicking woes may never leave Soldier Field, as Pineiro missed the game-winning kick.
It was not a pretty game overall, as each team’s respective offense seemingly could not build a comfortable lead. The Chargers aren’t complaining, and the win ends a three-game losing streak to put them at 3-5 on the year.
