Three Stars

Deshaun Watson

Sometimes the best you can do is simply not enough, as the Raiders defense tried to contain Deshaun Watson (they brought him down three times on Sunday). And yet, Watson still did what he does best, scrambling and making plays, including a touchdown pass after getting kicked in the face (absurd). Watson finished with 279 yards passing and three touchdowns, adding 46 yards on the ground.

DeAndre Hopkins

The Texans have an elite one-two punch in Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins, and on Sunday they were clearly the best two players on the field. Hopkins has arguably the most reliable hands in the NFL, and against the Raiders he caught 11 receptions on 13 targets for 109 yards.

Hunter Renfrow

After weeks of being on the “duds” list, Hunter Renfrow broke out on Sunday. While he wasn’t the leading receiver, he notched his first highlight-reel play of his career, connecting with Derek Carr and breaking off for a 65-yard touchdown. Renfrow caught all four targets and finished with 88 receiving yards.
