LONDON, ENGLAND – OCTOBER 13: Shaq Thompson of Carolina Panthers tackles Chris Godwin of Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the NFL match between the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 13, 2019 in London, England. (Photo by Alex Burstow/Getty Images) /

Chirs Godwin is one of the top-ranking wide receivers this year but isn’t getting a lot of praise due to the team he’s on right now. Godwin has caught 47 of his 63 targets for over 700 yards and six touchdowns. With a 15.0 yards per reception average, he is a big play waiting to happen, and the Raiders need that kind of production on the outside.

With Tyrell Williams returning this past weekend, it is clear that the Raiders want to take more shots downfield. They have one of the better offensive lines in the NFL, and you can see how comfortable Derek Carr is getting in the pocket.

Sure-handed, Godwin could bring life to an offense that’s lacking in speed right now. Godwin ran a 4.43 at the combine and is 6’1″ and 209 pounds. Having a receiver below a 4.5 forty time over 6’0 is something hard time.

However, if Tampa Bay was going to part ways with him it would most likely cost at least a third round pick, maybe even higher.
