Minnesota Vikings at Kansas City Chiefs

This game is going to come down to whether or not Patrick Mahomes is able to go after missing the team’s Week 8 matchup with the Green Bay Packers. The Minnesota Vikings head to Arrowhead playing some of their best football of the season, as they are finally getting solid production from quarterback Kirk Cousins.

If Mahomes cannot go, the Vikings roll in this one, even inside the friendly confines of Arrowhead Stadium. Much like their fellow NFC North brethren did on Sunday night, the Vikings will get a Chiefs team short-handed without Mahomes, and unable to do all the things they like to do on the offensive side of the ball.

In addition, this Chiefs defense is nothing to write home about, and it could be another big day for Cousins and Stefon Diggs. Dalvin Cook will have his room to run, and by the time this one is over,  the Chiefs will have lost their second straight game to an NFC North opponent.

Prediction: Vikings 27, Chiefs 21
