Detroit Lions at Oakland Raiders: 3 things to watch in Week 9

A Familiar Face
Among the position groups that the Raiders need an upgrade is at linebacker, and on Tuesday (aka the trade deadline) they made a move to help add some depth. Only, it wasn’t via trade, as Oakland stood pat and wisely kept their plethora of draft picks for 2020. Instead, they brought back a familiar face in Brandon Marshall.
Signed in the offseason but released prior to week one as he rehabbed from a knee injury, Marshall provides some help at the linebacker position, with the added plus being familiar with the scheme through training camp. Marshall comes back alongside Will Compton, who was also signed to help the linebacker group.
