The Oakland Raiders face a very beatable defense in Week 9, as they welcome the Detroit Lions inside the Coliseum. Here is our fantasy outlook.

When it comes to the Oakland Raiders in their Week 9 matchup with the Detroit Lions, it is important to make sure you have some of the key offensive players starting on your fantasy roster. Quarterback Derek Carr will be facing one of the worst pass defenses in the league, which could lead to his first 300-yard game of the season.

Overall, the Raiders have a lot to be happy for entering Week 9, as they have wrapped up the tough part of their schedule, and now take on only a handful of teams over .500 the rest of the way. Their opponent in Week 9, the Lions, presents their own crop of challenges for a Raiders team that struggled to get stops late in their Week 8 loss to the Houston Texans.

The Texans had a talented quarterback in Deshaun Watson, and the Lions have one as well in Matthew Stafford. Stafford is playing at a very high level in 2019, and if the Raiders cannot stop him through the air, this could be another close one.
