To win this week’s game, the Oakland Raiders will need some critical players to continue their great season and a couple to step up their inconsistent play.

The Oakland Raiders are finally back home after their long road trip, and there is no doubt that the Coliseum will be rocking.

Their return home also comes at a perfect time as they head into a crucial game against Detroit Lions. They need this win to remain in the thick playoff conversation, so we’ll see if this team is ready for the challenge.

If they are to pull out this victory, it’s going to require some big performances from key players on both sides of the ball. Oakland was unable to finish last week’s game against the Texans, and a couple of plays, in particular, weren’t made. Someone needs to step up and makes those plays this week because the Lions are no pushover.

Matthew Stafford is off to one of the best starts of his career, and the Detroit passing game is explosive and efficient at the same time. Letting them hang around could lead to a similar result as last Sunday, so the Raiders need to play a full four quarters.

Here are some players to watch on Sunday that could be focal points in a possible Raider victory on Sunday.
