The Oakland Raiders finally head home to take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday, and here are three bold predictions for the matchup.

The Oakland Raiders take on the Detroit Lions in Week 9, giving them another opportunity to put a win together, and move to .500 on the season. For the Raiders, that would be quite impressive when you consider what the schedule has looked like up until this point in 2019, as they have not played at home since Week 2.

Last weekend, the Raiders had more than enough opportunities to beat the Houston Texans, but squandered a fourth quarter lead, as they could not stop Deshaun Watson. The Texans ended up scoring two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, sending the Silver and Black back to Oakland sitting at 3-4 on the season.

In Week 9, the Raiders should be able to take care of business, as the Coliseum will be rocking, and they are playing a team that is very beatable, especially on defense. This offense is rolling right now, and as we inch closer to kickoff, let us take an indepth look at this matchup between two playoff contenders.
