Derek Carr throws for 300-plus yards

Derek Carr comes into this game fresh off his best passing performance of the season, and he should find some easy sledding against the Detroit Lions in Week 9. The Lions are dead last in the NFL in terms of passing yards allowed per game, as they have allowed nearly 290 yards through the air per game through Week 8.

For the Raiders, they are finally getting healthy at wide receiver, as Tyrell Williams‘ foot is getting closer to 100 percent. Zay Jones continues to get comfortable in this passing attack, and the tight ends, including Darren Waller and Foster Moreau should find some soft spots in the coverage on Sunday.

Carr is playing at a very high level right now, and that could spell trouble for this Lions secondary this weekend. The Raiders offense has been mixing up their looks, and utilizing rookie running back Josh Jacobs perfectly, which should lead to Carr taking shots downfield, and eclipsing 300 yards for the first time in 2019.
