Detroit Lions at Oakland Raiders live stream: How to watch online
By Brad Weiss
The Oakland Raiders take on the Detroit Lions in Week 9 of the 2019 NFL season, and here is how you can watch all of the action online.
The Oakland Raiders will welcome the Detroit Lions to RingCentral Coliseum on Sunday, their first real home game since Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs. In that game, a historical performance by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes led to a 28-10 loss in front of the home fans, but the Raiders should have easier sledding in this one.
Detroit is coming off a win against the New York Giants, a team that is definitely trending in the wrong direction this season. For the Lions, quarterback Matthew Stafford is playing at a very high level, and he should have his opportunities against a Raiders defensive backfield that was shredded by Deshaun Watson and the Houston Texans last weekend.
Luckily for Raiders fans, the Lions also have their issues against the pass, as they currently rank last in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game. In fact, the Lions have allowed nearly 290 yards per game through the air, something Jon Gruden, Derek Carr, and this Raiders offense have to exploit in this one.
Rookie running back Josh Jacobs was just named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Month, and for good reason, as he had two games where he nearly eclipsed 125 yards. He is doing all of this with a banged up shoulder, but do not expect that to hinder him against the Lions.

One big question for the Raiders against the Lions is whether or not they will be healthy at the center position. Rodney Hudson and Andre James are both dealing with an ankle issue, so that means the Raiders could be going with Richie Incognito at the position, and starting Denzelle Good at guard. (this was written on Saturday AM, before any decision was made)
With a win, the Raiders would move to .500 on the season, which is pretty remarkable considering how daunting their schedule was to start the season. The schedule gets a lot easier after the Lions game, so a win on Sunday would go a long way in the Raiders quest to make the playoffs in their final season in Oakland.
