The Oakland Raiders have a short week as they take on the Los Angeles Chargers in a Thursday Night Football showdown.

The Oakland Raiders will play host to the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night, their first game against an AFC West opponent since their matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs back in Week 2. For the Raiders, they have started to look like a legitimate playoff contender, and playing the Bolts on a short week will be their latest challenge in 2019.

Both teams are coming off impressive wins against NFC North opponents, as the Raiders took down Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions in an offensive shootout, and the Chargers shut down Aaron Rodgers in a win against the Green Bay Packers.

The Raiders are only half a game ahead of the Chargers, but they have shown all season that they are a much better team. The Raiders schedule was incredibly tough in the first half of the season, but it becomes a bit easier from this point forward.

The Oakland Raiders need to start winning consistently, and that has to start now. Let’s see four reasons why the Raiders will defeat the Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
